About the Headhug

This is a place where artists come together to celebrate the bohemian values of freedom, beauty, truth, and love. This is a place for enthusiasm, for head nodding, for fist pumping, for standing ovations, for kind words, for the advancement of the cause of the greater good, an artistic Zion if you will, where people lift each other up with their positive encouragements and optimistic creations. It’s like a warm hug around your head.
This is not a place for death or people who are obsessed with it, for hopelessness, for people who can’t think of anything more creative than the dreaded F word and all of his nasty brothers and sisters, for pontificating on sexual fantasies, nor for telling the world how stupid President Bush is or how man-like Hilary Clinton is. No, these things do not belong on Headhug.
So sally forth with your triumphant creations. Bring them, work them, present them, love them. But we ask that they be worthy of praise and we will praise them to no end. Now stand up with us. Stand up and say “Yeah!”
